We Build Future Science Leaders

About Us

The Science to Business Academy (S2BA) is where Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) graduates come to learn the skills and knowledge they need to launch and progress in their dream careers. We partner with top organizations and thought leaders to offer interactive courses on everything from career planning to developing job-specific skills. Our focus is ensuring that you understand the STEM job landscape and how to position yourself as the best candidate for your desired role.

Our Mission

S2BA’s mission is to drive career growth for STEM graduates and professionals by providing access to interactive, tailored learning opportunities that complement their scientific training.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We believe that graduates of STEM programs have a foundational grasp of key scientific concepts, theories, quantitative literacy, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills that make them a valuable asset to employers. Yet, many students graduate with a lack of understanding around the opportunities that exist outside academia, how to plan their career strategically, and in-depth job-specific knowledge and industry language that allows trainees to shine in their interviews.  In order for you to launch your career we believe that the information for trainees has to be:

  1. Taught by leading experts so trainees have the most current and informative training

  2. Relevant to the trainee in their journey towards their dream career

  3. Aligned with employer (academic and non-academic) needs

Our Learning Community

Our learning community comprise aspiring leaders in STEM-related fields. Whether you’re a Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, Post-Doctorate, or Professional, our courses are designed to help you gain unique insights to improve and enhance your skills and accelerate your career.

Our EDI
Statement

At S2BA, we are dedicated to ensuring an equitable, diverse, and inclusive (EDI) learning community. We will strive to create a community where everyone feels welcomed and accepted. In doing so we commit to:

  1. Respecting individual differences, which may include, but are not limited to, age, cultural background, disability, ethnicity, family status, gender, immigration status, national origin, race, religion, sex, and sexual orientation

  2. Practice transparent communication in all interactions and encourage questioning of our actions to ensure we are embodying our EDI commitment.

We wish to acknowledge the land on which S2BA operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of may diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
